About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified Integrative counsellor working in an integrative way, which means I tailor my theories, therapeutic skills, and techniques to your uniqueness, helping you to view and work through your issues in a confidential and safe space.
I have my own practice and work at various locations within Essex. I provide support both face-to-face, online and telephone counselling to ensure that you can choose what best suits your needs. I can work with you if you are going through a difficult time, either from past experiences that may have been very painful or if you are facing new challenges. I will gently work alongside you to deal with life’s challenges, which are sometimes difficult to process alone.
I believe we are all unique, so I am deeply committed to helping you face any obstacles that are preventing you from achieving your full potential. By empowering and motivating, I can help you gain inner strength, confidence, and resilience by creating a compassionate, and empathetic, non-judgemental, and nurturing environment for you to express your feelings and emotions in a safe and inviting atmosphere.
At times life and situations can feel very overwhelming, and we can struggle to do the very things that contribute to our well-being; because of this it helps to be able to talk with someone who is not a friend or family member and who does not have any preconceived ideas about you. So, at the core of my practice is to work with you in a person-centred way, to offer you the respect and dignity you deserve, along with other therapeutic counselling styles such as psychodynamic and CBT to ensure you receive the best possible therapeutic care.
Practice description
I have experience working with a diverse range of concerns, which includes dyslexia (both in young people and adults who struggle to cope with education, work, and everyday life challenges. Anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, domestic abuse, ACE (adverse childhood events), low mood, loss, suicide, and bereavement counselling.
Sessions can be scheduled weekly or bi-weekly or when required. Each session lasts for the duration of 50 minutes.
Face-to-face sessions are currently based in Buckhurst Hill, and Harold Wood where you can talk freely in a warm, welcoming and confidential therapy room.
Online and telephone counselling sessions are conducted in a private and confidential space to ensure a high level of privacy.
Being able to use different therapy tools allows me to work more creatively with you. Sometimes this may involve working with attachment theory and connecting with your inner child. This approach can often help you unconsciously tap into and connect to your deeper emotions, which at times you may find slightly challenging.
In exploring these emotions in a much deeper and profound way, you will be able to better understand how past unresolved conflicts can affect daily life, enabling you to manage and improve your emotional well-being.
I offer both long-term and short-term counselling sessions, which can be face-to-face, online, or by telephone.
My first session
To arrange a session, you can contact me in the following ways:

If required, I can arrange a 15-minute telephone or video consultation session free of charge. This will allow me to better understand your situation and how I can best support you through the process. Additionally, it may help you to decide if I am the right counsellor for you.
