About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative and humanistic counselling psychotherapist working at HQ Therapy in Hackney and also in West London.

I hold an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University, complimented with a BA in psychology. I am currently working towards UKCP accreditation. 

As an integrative therapist I draw on a range of theories from different schools of thought to best meet your individual needs and situation. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method; instead, I work collaboratively and holistically to tailor the therapeutic process to you. I work relationally, which means I prioritise the therapeutic relationship and the here and now. 

I appreciate that starting therapy can be daunting, rest assured I was once in your shoes and I had a million to one questions! Therapy can be a powerful tool for creating positive change and navigating difficult decisions. I pride myself on being extremely open, curious and non-judgmental.  I believe we all need someone we can talk to and open up to when life gets complicated. 

Practice description

As your psychotherapist, I see my role as accompanying you on your journey of self-discovery. Together, we will build a therapeutic alliance grounded in trust and compassion. I encourage an open, authentic dialogue that fosters honest and sincere communication. In the therapy room, I prioritise working relationally, meaning I aim to build a relationship built on trust that helps you explore all parts of yourself without judgement. I believe in the fundamental core conditions of empathy, unconditional positive regard and congruence. 

In a fast-paced world filled with anxiety and stress, there is often little time to reflect and increase your self-awareness. I view therapy as a space to pause, explore, and challenge the core belief systems that shape how we see ourselves and others. I work with life scripts and narratives and enjoy understanding how the past impacts the present. Through this process, I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can bring your most vulnerable parts to be seen, heard and understood.

My first session

The first session is used to get to know each other and get a feels as to whether we are a good match for one another.
