About me and my therapy practice

Welcome,

I am Manju Botha, a qualified Integrative Counsellor.

I use a range of therapeutic approaches to empower you to overcome your difficulties. I tailor therapy sessions specifically to your unique specific needs in a safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your pace. A journey to find you, where you can speak freely and openly. I work with adults 18 years + and offer short-term or longer-term  counselling sessions.

At Manju Botha Therapy I will help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. I will help you gain clarity and understanding to overcome the issues you are facing, along with tools and techniques enabling you to achieve growth through greater self-awareness, and to create change and a balanced fulfilling life.

I have helped clients across a range of issues such as anxiety and depression, self-harm, domestic abuse, relationship struggles and trauma. It’s very reassuring to witness the transformation through the counselling process.

Practice description

As an integrative counsellor I use various therapeutic approaches and specifically tailor our sessions to your unique needs. Whatever challenges you face day-to-day, my aim is to help you create lasting change. At the core of our sessions is a person-centred approach where the client and the therapist work collaboratively. Person-centred therapy is a type of non-directive therapy that is empathetically driven to offer you a safe and non-judgemental space to talk where you can self-actualise and make positive changes in your life. 

My first session

Your first session is the beginning of our work together, so I continue to assess information gathering to get an overall bigger picture. We work at your own pace and build a partnership of trust as well as identifying any therapeutic goals.
