Availability

I understand that life can be hectic, which is why we offer flexible availability to accommodate your schedule. I am here for you Monday through Saturday, with appointment slots available from 9 AM to 8 PM. Whether you prefer in-person sessions, over the phone or walk & talk, I aim to provide convenient options that fit your lifestyle.

About me and my therapy practice

I want counselling to feel comfortable and natural, eliminating the impersonal experience often associated with it. By being real and authentic, I strive to create an environment where you can genuinely relax and be yourself. To break down barriers and foster a therapeutic relationship that feels more like a meaningful connection than a clinical interaction.

I strongly believe we all have the answers within ourselves; we just need the right space & guidance to help unpack them. Having been through this process, I understand the powerful impact our experiences have on us & how deep those trenches go.

My commitment is to support you through your experiences and challenges, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore what’s going on in your life. Having worked with a diverse range of issues; from stress and relationship issues to suicidal ideation and trauma to anger and abuse. I’m here to help you navigate your journey by fostering awareness of self, self-regulation and empowering you to explore your experiences and emotions.

'Each of us is unique, and no two experiences are lived in the same way.'

Remember this is your journey!

Practice description

I offer a FREE, no obligation telephone consultation.

I offer a range of flexible counselling options designed to create a comfortable and supportive space for you to grow and heal.

Face to Face Counselling

In-person sessions give us the chance to build a personal connection, helping to establish trust and clear communication. Being together in the same room allows for a more dynamic and immediate exchange. The consistency of face to face counselling creates a stable environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions, especially when dealing with more complex issues.

Outdoor Therapy

I also offer walk and talk therapy, which takes our sessions outdoors. Walking can help reduce stress, boost mood, and even spark new ideas. The physical movement can be a great metaphor for progress in therapy, helping you feel like you're moving forward. Plus, being in nature can be grounding and calming, making it easier to have open and honest conversations. It’s a flexible option that works for all fitness levels, and it can bring a refreshing change of pace to your sessions.

Phone Counselling

For those who prefer a more convenient option, I also offer phone and online counselling. These sessions let you attend therapy from the comfort of your own home, making it easier to fit therapy into your schedule. Plus, they offer a level of privacy that can make it easier to open up about sensitive issues. Whether you're in a remote area or just prefer to stay at home, these options give you the flexibility to prioritise your mental health without any added stress.

No matter which option you choose, my aim is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood, helping you move forward with confidence and clarity.

My first session

In our first session, I believe it’s important to take the time to ensure that therapy is the right fit for you. Prior to our first session, we’ll have a chat over the phone where I will guide you through an initial assessment. This conversation helps me understand your needs, goals, and what you’re looking to get out of therapy, so that our first session can be tailored specifically to you.

The first session is really about you, it's a chance for you to explore how you feel about therapy, how we connect, and whether my approach is a good match for your needs. It’s all about making sure that this is the right space for your journey, and that you feel comfortable and confident moving forward. This session is not just about the work we will do together, but about you finding what works best for your personal path.
