About me and my therapy practice
I work with adults and teenagers over 16. I offer a safe, compassionate, non-judgemental, confidential space. You will have freedom to explore your feelings and gain insight into your thoughts, emotions and patterns of behaviours. We will work together to identify and look at what is troubling you and together try to find a way to create movement.
Practice description
I am a psychodynamic counsellor, which means exploring your past and how it might be affecting your present in ways that are no longer helpful to you. You may find yourself repeating and reliving unwanted patterns, feeling trapped in hard to resolve situations or relationships, or maybe a feeling that something just isn’t quite right. Together we will gradually and gently work through what is happening at your own pace.
My first session
Our first meeting will be an assessment. We will discuss why you are seeking therapy now, your history and your current situation.
It is an opportunity for you to check that you feel safe and comfortable working with me and for us to think about whether we think working together will be beneficial.
My sessions are 50 minutes.
