About me and my therapy practice
I work with a philosophical outlook and an open, friendly approach. I am trained in an integrative approach, which primarily includes, but is not limited to, the person-centred and psychodynamic schools.
I believe that each person has better advice to give themselves than anyone could give to them, and as such I try to reflect back and gently question what a client has to say to find out this advice.
I have worked with anxiety, depression, disability, neurodivergence, chronic pain, grief and sexuality, among many experiences, and am LGBT+/queer-friendly. I have also been counselling online since the pandemic, and continue to do so. I have been counselling professionally since 2021.
"The task [the therapy] is not solely that of the counsellor or psychotherapist. The work lies in the creative space between, in the relationship." - Petruska Clarkson
