About me and my therapy practice
As a qualified, registered and fully accredited member of BACP, I provide professional and confidential counselling in a safe and supportive environment.
I hold a Professional Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling and I am a fully qualified EMDR therapist. I am experienced in a broad range of issues (see below). I can work either short term (up to 6 weeks) or provide longer term support.
As an integrative counsellor I am able to work using a specific approach (eg CBT) or to taylor a mix of approaches to suit each client individually.
I offer an initial 50 minute consultation session, which is free of charge and without obligation. During this session I will answer any questions or concerns, gain an understanding of your situation, and together we will look at how counselling could help you.
I specialise in trauma and I am a fully qualified EMDR therapist. I also have additional specialist training in addiction and addictive behaviour.
In addition to running my own private practice, I have worked within the NHS and voluntary sectors. I also provide supervision, training and consultancy services.
Please note: I have offices in Swindon Old Town (SN1) and Calne town centre (SN11). Please state on your enquiry which location you would prefer. I also offer sessions via Zoom, Skype and telephone.

About me and my therapy practice
I provide professional and confidential supervision in a safe and supportive environment.
I offer individual and group supervision to therapists and other clinicians in the helping professions. I also provide training and trauma consultancy services to corporate and public sector organisations and EAP's.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Relational Supervision, which looks closely at the therapist/client relationship and the various other relationships and contexts involved in the client work. Where appropriate and with the supervisee's agreement, this can sometimes also involve deeper exploration of the supervisee's own personal process.
My original core training was in Humanistic and Integrative therapy and I have expanded my integration over the years to include IFS, Solution Focussed, CBT, Cognitive Analytic, TFCBT, Body Work and Mindfulness approaches. I specialise in trauma and I am also a fully qualified EMDR Therapist.
I have additional specialist training and experience in working with addiction and addictive behaviour.
I offer both short and longer term supervision.
Practice description
I strive to bring to my supervision practice the qualities I have found so valuable in my own supervision over the years, including positive regard and respect, honest supportive constructive feedback, insight, a sound knowledge of therapeutic skills and of multiple modalities, creativity and personal validation as well as good humour along the way.
My aim is to support you fully in your own style and approach to client work and to help guide and support you through the inevitable challenges of therapeutic practice, as well as with your ongoing development as a practitioner.
