About me and my therapy practice
Whoever you are and whatever your age, life can be challenging, and sometimes, we all need a little help to navigate through its ups and downs. Figuring out who you are and where you fit in the world can sometimes feel overwhelming.
I work with young people and adults who come to counselling for all sorts of reasons: depression, anxiety, problems with relationships and sex, identity and sexuality issues, family conflict, break-ups, life changes, difficult choices, bereavement and illness or just the feeling that everything is just too much.
For couples, I provide a supportive space where both partners can openly share their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. My approach focuses on helping you understand each other more deeply, improving communication skills, and resolving conflicts constructively. Whether you're facing challenges related to trust, intimacy, or simply feeling disconnected, we'll work together to identify patterns and explore healthier ways of relating.
Online counselling offers a safe, convenient, and effective way to get the support you need from the comfort of your own home. A place where you can talk about anything that's on your mind. Where you're listened to, without judgment, and where your feelings are respected and kept confidential.
Practice description
I appreciate how challenging it can be to open up, especially when there's a sense that you're supposed to handle everything on your own. I offer a safe, supportive online environment where you can explore what you're going through without judgment, and at your own pace. I hope we can work together where you find clarity and the freedom to talk about whatever feels right and helpful for you.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minute Initial Consultation session. It is a crucial first step in the counselling process because it helps me understand your unique needs. You complete a simple form and then we book the session. During this session, I take the opportunity to get to know you better, discuss your current concerns, and explore your personal history in a supportive and non-judgmental way. This consultation ensures that our sessions are as effective and meaningful as possible. Hopefully this is the beginning of our journey together and is designed to help you feel comfortable and understood from the very start.
