About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified and insured psychotherapist and a member of the BACP.
I am an experienced integrative therapeutic psychotherapist/counsellor helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves and recognize their choices.
As a parent of a child / teenager with SEND I have lived experience of both the joys and challenges involved. I offer counselling to parents and carers of SEND, supporting you on this unique journey.
I work integratively, meaning I tailor a variety of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamically and humanistic. This enables me to work with a tailored approach that will meet my clients individual needs, thus meaning that rooted in my belief is that everybody has the capacity for self-growth.
My goal is to empower my clients to build resilience, develop coping skills and achieve their personal and emotional wellbeing. I am dedicated to my work and have a passion to work collaboratively with my clients to get them to a place they desire.
I specialize in assisting clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, coping with grief and loss, motivation, and self-esteem. Additionally, I have experience in supporting clients to build confidence. I believe that you are the expert of your story and possess many strengths that will help you overcome your challenges. Taking the first step towards a more fulfilling and happier life requires courage, and I am here to support you in that journey.
Practice description
I offer weekly or fortnightly appointments. Evening appointments are available.
My first session
I offer a FREE 30-minute meeting either face to face or on the phone, to all clients looking for therapy. The purpose of this is for me to understand more about your needs and for you to decide if you feel comfortable talking to me. There is no obligation to continue, choosing a therapist is a very personal choice and only you can do that.
If you'd like to work together, we would then book in an initial assessment session, which lasts 60 minutes. This gives us time to understand some of your struggles in more depth and consider how best we might work together. All further sessions are 50 minutes duration, and I normally work with clients on a weekly basis.
I offer therapy both in-person and online.
Initial assessment sessions (60 minutes) are charged at £65, and further weekly sessions (50 minutes) are £60.
