About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Integrative Psychotherapist, using different therapeutic approaches to suit my clients' needs.
People come to counselling for lots of different reasons: maybe you're feeling angry, sad, anxious or confused; struggling with bereavement, life changes, work or relationship issues, or feeling overwhelmed and unable to see a way through it. These are all normal but challenging aspects of what it is to be human. I provide a warm and empathic space to explore issues which may be hard to share with others and help you to understand yourself better, the patterns and habits that are troubling you and to make the best changes for yourself.
I work with whatever is troubling you but I have particular experience with grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, low self esteem, relationship and work issues. Whatever brings you to therapy, I will help you to explore it with compassion so you can come to terms with difficult experiences, gain greater self-awareness and feel empowered to move forward.
Practice description
I work in an integrative way which means that I use various modalities in my work, adapting my style to meet your needs and ensuring you feel in control of the process.
Seeking counselling can be daunting so I aim to provide a safe and supportive space to explore your emotions without fear of judgement and to feel genuinely heard.
I understand how important it is to feel comfortable and connected with your counsellor so I work collaboratively with my clients and at their pace. Sessions can be face to face in Weybridge or East Molesey, or online.
I aim to be as flexible as possible in terms of offering long term, open-ended support or a limited number of sessions to suit your needs. The important thing is to do what's right for you and this is something we can discuss as we work together.
I offer a free 15 minute introduction call so you can get a sense of whether you would feel comfortable working together and to ask any questions before making your decision.
