About me and my therapy practice
My name is Bryony and I am a Relate trained Relationship Therapist providing counselling in a non-judgemental and discreet manner to individuals, couples, non-monogamous individuals, and polyamorous groups. Together we design therapy that will help you navigate and improve your relationships. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists (BACP) therefore i work within their ethical framework to deliver counselling safely and effectively.
Practice description
Whether you are looking to overcome an issue in your relationship or would like to learn how to communicate better with your partner, I offer individual and couples / poly partner sessions to explore what you would like your relationships to look like and we work together to help you achieve this.
I work with issues related to:
Drug and alcohol use
Bereavement
Sexual issues
Infidelity
LGBTQ+ issues
Post Partum
Co-parenting
Blending families
Mental health issues
Neurodiversity
No one size fits all
As an Integrative therapist, I have been trained in a number of counselling approaches including Psychodynamic, Person-Centred and Systemic therefore can tailor my approach accordingly.
I will start by seeing you together then individually to enable me to best understand you, what you would like to gain from therapy and for us to decide whether we would like to work together.
My first session
First session for a couple will involve seeing you together as a couple and then separately one after the other so we have the chance to explore what you would like to get out of therapy together and on your own. All sessions after that will be as a couple unless there is a reason for having a “split session” - seeing you each separately for half of the session.
