About me and my therapy practice

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I specialize in providing online therapy for teens and adults. I have particular expertise in grief, bereavement, and individual relationship counseling. My practice focuses exclusively on one-to-one therapy, allowing me to create a deeply supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Working with teenagers requires a unique approach, and I’ve dedicated significant time to understanding the challenges young people face today. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, loss of a loved one, or struggling to navigate relationships, I offer a safe space where your experiences are heard and validated. My approach combines evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with age-appropriate techniques that resonate with younger clients.

For adults seeking support with grief and bereavement, I provide a gentle, understanding environment where you can process your loss at your own pace. My experience in grief counseling helps clients navigate the complex emotions and challenges that come with losing someone close, while developing healthy coping strategies for moving forward.

My therapeutic style balances emotional support with practical guidance. I work collaboratively with you to develop strategies that fit your specific situation, whether you’re managing anxiety, working through grief, or addressing relationship challenges as an individual.

Practice description

My online therapy practice offers confidential, professional support tailored to your specific needs. I work exclusively with individuals rather than couples or families, allowing for focused, in-depth therapeutic work. Sessions take place through a secure, user-friendly video platform that ensures your privacy while providing the comfort of accessing support from your preferred location.

I specialize in supporting:

Teens (13-19) dealing with anxiety, depression, and life changes

Individuals coping with grief and bereavement

People working through relationship challenges individually

Those experiencing anxiety and panic attacks

Adults navigating depression and low mood

My approach adapts to each client’s needs while maintaining a strong foundation in evidence-based practices. For teens, this might mean using more interactive techniques and modern examples that relate to their experiences. For grief work, I incorporate specialized bereavement counseling methods that honor each person’s unique grieving process. When working with relationship issues, I focus on helping individuals understand their patterns and develop healthier ways of relating to others.

I offer flexible appointment times, including evening sessions, to accommodate school, work, and different schedules.

My first session

I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation. This session allows you to share your story and determine whether we’re a good fit for working together. It also helps us establish what brings you to therapy and how I can best support you.

During our first meeting, we’ll:

Discuss what’s bringing you to therapy at this time

Explore your goals and expectations

Talk about my approach and how it might help

Address any questions about online therapy

For teens: discuss how therapy can be relevant and helpful for you

For those dealing with grief: Explore how grief counseling can support your healing journey

For relationship concerns: Clarify how individual therapy can help with relationship challenges

Before our first meeting, I’ll email you a brief questionnaire to help me better understand your situation. Everything shared remains confidential, following BACP ethical guidelines. If you decide to continue after our initial consultation, regular sessions last 50 minutes and are typically held weekly at the same time. Standard sessions are £50, with some concession rates available for students.

My online platform is secure and GDPR-compliant, ensuring your privacy throughout our work together. I’m committed to creating a therapeutic space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported in your journey toward positive change.

About me and my therapy practice

I'm not just a therapist—I understand what it’s like to feel lost in grief, trapped by anxiety, or weighed down by self-doubt.

Anxiety isn’t just stress, and panic attacks aren’t just in your head. I help people who feel trapped in cycles of overthinking, fear, and sudden waves of panic that seem to come out of nowhere.

Whether anxiety is running your life or panic attacks leave you feeling powerless, therapy gives you the tools to regain control, find relief, and start living again—without fear holding you back. Anxiety and panic attacks can make even the simplest moments feel overwhelming. You're not alone if you're constantly battling racing thoughts, sudden waves of fear, or a sense of losing control. I specialize in helping people in Poole who feel trapped by anxiety and panic reclaim their sense of calm and control.

I don’t offer generic advice or quick fixes—I offer real support tailored to you. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to explain why you feel this way or prove that your struggle is real. Whether your anxiety has been a lifelong battle or panic attacks have suddenly taken over your life, we’ll work together to make sense of what’s happening and build strategies that help.

My approach is practical, compassionate, and focused on real-world solutions. We’ll explore the thoughts, triggers, and patterns fueling your anxiety while working on ways to calm your nervous system, regain confidence, and break free from the cycle of fear.

Therapy isn’t about eliminating every anxious thought—it’s about learning how to live without fear controlling you. If you’re ready to take that step, I’m here to help.

Online therapy is available for Chester clients and beyond.

Practice description

I provide online therapy for anxiety and panic attacks, supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, restless, and trapped in a cycle of fear. If you’ve tried to “push through” anxiety but it’s still running your life, therapy offers a different way forward.

My areas of focus include:

✔ Generalized Anxiety – If your mind won’t slow down, and fear keeps getting in the way.

✔ Panic Attacks – Learning how to stop panic in its tracks and regain trust in your body.

✔ Health Anxiety – When worry about your body and symptoms takes over.

✔ Social Anxiety – Managing fear of judgment and overwhelming self-consciousness.

✔ Low Self-Confidence – Breaking free from self-doubt and the fear of not being enough.

With online therapy, you get the support you need wherever you are. No waiting lists, no travel stress—just a space to work through what’s holding you back at your own pace.

If anxiety and panic attacks have taken over your life, therapy can help you understand your triggers, regain control, and finally breathe again.

My first session

Starting therapy can feel daunting, but your first session is not about pressure or expectations. It’s about understanding where you are and what you need.

In our first session, we will:

✔ Talk about what brought you here—whether it’s panic, anxiety, or a sense of feeling stuck.

✔ Explore your experiences—what’s been working, what hasn’t, and where you need support.

✔ Set the right pace for you—there’s no rush to share more than you’re ready for.

✔ Outline a plan together—something practical, manageable, and tailored to you.

This session is a safe, judgment-free space to determine if therapy is the right fit for you. If anxiety and panic are running your life, let’s take the first step toward change—together.

Sunday: A day of rest and renewal.

Therapy that fits your life, not the other way around.

Because I work exclusively online, our sessions are as flexible as you need them to be. Whether you’re curled up on the couch with your dog, taking a quick break at work, or carving out a moment of calm in a hectic home, you can show up just as you are—wherever you feel safe, comfortable, and ready to heal.

About me and my therapy practice

Does life ever feel too heavy to carry on your own?

Maybe you’re lying awake at night, replaying every conversation, second-guessing every choice, wishing for a break from your thoughts. Perhaps grief is holding you hostage, making it hard to breathe, let alone move forward. Or your relationship feels like it’s slipping through your fingers, and you’re terrified it’s too far gone. Parenting a teenager? It’s like navigating a storm without a map. And if ADHD is part of your world—yours or your child’s—you know it’s not just “disorganization.” It’s chaos, guilt, and a constant fight to stay afloat.

You don’t have to do this alone. Together, we’ll figure out what’s weighing you down, confront what’s keeping you stuck, and build a way forward that works for your life—not someone else’s idea.

I use a mix of approaches tailored to what you need:

Solution-focused strategies to help you take small, clear steps forward.

CBT and mindfulness to calm the storm in your mind.

Creative therapy will help you say what words can’t.

Relationship-focused work to rebuild trust and heal the cracks.

For Parents and Teens

Parenting doesn’t come with a manual, and raising a teen can make you feel like you’re failing. I help parents and teens reconnect, rebuild trust, and create a safe home for both of you.

For Those Living with ADHD

ADHD is more than distraction—it’s exhaustion from trying to fit into a world that doesn’t get you. Together, we’ll tackle the overwhelm, find strategies that work, and celebrate the parts of you that others overlook.

What You Can Expect

A judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.

Practical tools to manage anxiety, ADHD, or overwhelming emotions.

Support to rebuild your relationships—whether with your partner, teen, or yourself.

Compassionate guidance through grief, loss, or significant life changes.

Practice description

Maybe you feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world. Perhaps grief has left you feeling lost, or anxiety keeps whispering lies about who you are and what you’re capable of. Your relationships might feel strained, or you might just be tired of feeling stuck, unseen, and unheard.

This is your space to find clarity, healing, and growth. Together, we’ll dive into the challenges holding you back and find meaningful and practical solutions for your life. My goal isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you uncover the strength, wisdom, and potential within you.

Empathy and understanding from someone who’s walked the road of transformation. I spent years leading large corporations, shouldering heavy responsibilities, and feeling the constant pressure to perform. I know what it’s like to feel disconnected and overwhelmed by the expectations of life. My journey of stepping away, finding balance, and redefining my purpose profoundly informs my work.

A unique blend of therapy and coaching. As a qualified therapist and coach, I bring tools from both disciplines to help you heal and grow. Whether you’re facing personal struggles, professional challenges, or significant life transitions, I’ll help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

My practice is for anyone ready to take that first brave step. Whether navigating grief, managing anxiety, rebuilding after a breakup, or seeking clarity in a chaotic world, you’ll find a safe space here. You can expect:

Compassionate support, free of judgment.

A partnership focused on your goals and growth.

Practical strategies to help you manage your emotions and relationships.

A flexible, online setting where you can show up as your true self.

You might feel stuck right now, but I promise you, you don’t have to stay there. Together, we’ll create a new story where you feel seen, valued, and empowered to take the following steps toward a lighter and more meaningful life.

My first session

Your first session is more than a conversation—it’s a moment to feel seen and heard. Life might have been overwhelming lately, but we are starting to untangle it all here.

Here’s what you can expect:

A safe and welcoming online space—accessible wherever you are, designed for comfort and privacy.

A chance to share your story at your pace—whether you’re ready to dive deep or need time to warm up, there’s no rush.

An introduction to how we’ll work together—we’ll explore your goals for therapy, and I’ll answer any questions you have about the process.

I’ve been on this journey myself, so I know how vulnerable it feels to take that first step. You don’t need to have it all figured out before you start. We’ll take it one step at a time—together.
