About me and my therapy practice

A Helping Hand in Challenging Times

I know how difficult it can be to find the right therapist and understand that these directories can present an overload of information, especially when you're simply looking for help. I want to make the process as straightforward as possible.

In today's uncertain world, it's no wonder that many of us feel overwhelmed by anxiety or sadness. People can fall into negative thinking circles or seek unhealthy ways to cope with difficult emotions...

Practice description

As a therapist, I've helped individuals overcome numerous challenges. By providing a safe space to talk, understanding behavioural patterns, and offering strategies for change, counselling has empowered them to reduce stress and find joy in life again.

But it's not just my professional experience that enables me to help people struggling. My own personal journey, filled with challenges and growth, has laid the foundation for my therapeutic abilities. While every person's journey is unique, I've found that overcoming my personal challenges has been invaluable in supporting others dealing with similar difficulties.

It's important to note that therapy isn't always about addressing complex problems. Counselling sessions can also be a time for reflection, exploring new perspectives, and finding a safe space to be truly heard. It's a starting point for a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Studies have shown that a significant majority of people experience a reduction in symptoms and an improved quality of life after counselling. This reinforces what I witness daily: most people begin therapy feeling bad and leave feeling better, or at least opening the door to that goal.

I offer a welcoming and accepting environment where clients can explore their strengths, find new meaning, and discover solutions. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients feel empowered to share their thoughts and feelings without judgement.

I strive to build therapeutic relationships founded on genuine connection and empathy. My aim is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I believe that true healing occurs when clients feel truly listened to and valued.
