About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified counsellor and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I see clients via telephone and online video sessions.
I appreciate that these directories can present an overload of information at a time you may simply be looking for help. I want to make this process as straightforward as possible for you…
How I work
I offer a welcoming and accepting environment where clients can explore their strengths, identify their authentic desires, find new meaning, and discover solutions. My aim is to create a therapeutic space where clients will feel empowered to share their thoughts and feelings free from the fear of judgement.
With the wide range of clients and the various issues I've worked with, I strive to build therapeutic relationships founded on genuine connection and empathy. I want to provide a safe and supportive environment where people feel truly seen, heard, and understood.
The way I practice is not limited to simply listening and repeating your feelings back - I advocate using session time to identify what my clients would like to achieve from counselling and attempting to gain something useful for them. I aim to facilitate an environment where my clients start to understand their current situation and make desired changes.
It is not just my professional experience as an integrative counsellor that enables me to help people who are struggling. My own personal journey, filled with challenges and growth, has laid the foundation for my therapeutic approach. While every human being’s journey is unique, I have found that overcoming my personal issues has been invaluable in supporting others in dealing with similar issues.
