About me and my therapy practice

Struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, relationship issues, life changes or loss? Perhaps you simply need someone to listen without judgement?

You might be feeling stressed, stuck, or can’t quite put your finger on what’s wrong – but you know something needs to change. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to face it alone.

I offer a warm, supportive environment where you can talk openly, and explore what’s going on for you, at your own pace. While friends and family may listen, you might feel like a burden – or not fully understood. Therapy offers something different: a confidential, non-judgemental environment where you can feel truly heard and accepted.

Working collaboratively in this way can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships. The process can empower you to navigate challenges and open the door to new possibilities – enabling you to feel more at peace with yourself and your life. Together, we’ll explore new perspectives and uncover the tools within you to help you move forward with confidence and clarity.

My approach and experience

My counselling style is grounded in warmth, kindness and gentle curiosity. As an integrative counsellor, I drawn on a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques to support your individual needs. Everyone’s story is different, so I tailor my work accordingly.

Over the years, I’ve supported clients facing a wide variety of life experiences and issues, and I bring care, respect and attentiveness to every session. Alongside my private practice, I also provide bereavement counselling at local hospices.

Get in touch

If you’d like to explore how we could work together, I’d love to hear from you.

Practice description

I work with a wide range of issues including:

  • Low self-esteem
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Life changes and transitions
  • Bereavement, grief and loss
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Work stress and burnout
  • Loneliness and isolation
  • Negative cycles, overthinking and worrying
  • Attachment issues
  • Social anxiety
  • Infertility and women’s issues
  • Family conflict
  • Anger management
  • Emptiness and lack for purpose

I have extensive experience supporting clients through loss – whether that’s the death of a loved one or a ‘living loss’, such as the end of a relationship, redundancy, age-related changes or when life doesn’t turn out how we’d hoped. Taking the time to explore these losses and your grief, in a compassionate, non-judgemental space can be a powerful step towards shaping your future.

• I offer in-person sessions in my private therapy rooms in Forest Row and adjoining village, Colemans Hatch.

• Online sessions are available UK-wide

• I also offer walk and talk sessions in the local countryside.

• Sessions are priced at £55.

• I offer reduced rate sessions for counselling students and those in certain circumstances (Please get in touch for details).

• Sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly and last 50 minutes.

My first session

Initial consultation

I offer a free-of-charge, no obligation 15-minute telephone consultation, where we can explore what you would like to get out of therapy, and how I might be able to support you. If you’d like to start therapy, we can then arrange our initial 50-minute counselling session.

Our first session

Our first session is an opportunity to further explore your expectations of and goals for therapy, how I might be able to support you, and for us to begin to get to know one another.

Ahead of the first session, I will send you some paperwork including my client agreement and privacy statement, which we will also explore in our first session.

After the first session, if you feel I am the right therapist for you, we can find a mutually convenient time to start counselling sessions.
