About me and my therapy practice
A warm welcome to you, my name is Catherine.
Things may be difficult for you right now, maybe they have been for some time. What may help is speaking to a down to earth and approachable qualified counsellor and psychotherapist.
I am an open, authentic and compassionate person who has worked with hundreds of remarkable people like you. Together we can work through your experiences, thoughts, fears, and pain to gain some clarity on what has brought you to this point. This mutual discovery often means things feel much lighter and the path forward feels clearer helping you to uncover aspects of your life you want to accept, change or let go of.
Practice description
Worried about talking about your issues?
I have significant experience working with people who may feel reluctant or unsure about therapy or doutbtful that it will help. I am trained to work creatively, so we can find other ways of communicating other than talking alone, to include walk and talk therapy if you'd like to move whilst we work.
Would like therapy but have no time?
I am certified in working remotively (online using Microsoft teams) and have found this works very well for my clients. I offer face to face sessions in a safe and confidential designated therapy room in a quiet village location with ample off road parking.
Feel your issues are too huge or complex?
I have provided counselling for Police and Fire Personnel as well as experience of working with survivors of rape and sexual abuse and I am trained to offer trauma focused therapy.
My first session
I am happy to have a conversation over the phone or via teams to see if we feel we can work well together. These last around 15 minutes and are not charged.
Future sessions are charged £60 for 50 minutes.
Initial session includes a conversation about what brings you to therapy as well as some questions which help me offer you the right support. There is no obligation to book more sessions after attending the first one.
