About me and my therapy practice

I understand that life can be challenging and often feels unfair. Having been both a client and a counsellor I empathise with the feelings you may be experiencing. It takes immense courage to seek help, and I am here to support you on your journey.

About My Practice

I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings. My online therapy services are designed to offer convenience and accessibility, ensuring that you can seek the support you need from the comfort of your own environment. If you prefer face-to-face sessions, I also offer in-person appointments this is based at Hillsborough in Sheffield.

Experience & Qualifications

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I value working with a diverse range of clients, as it enables me to continually deepen my understanding of each individual's needs.

In addition to my private practice, I work with a charity to provide counselling to students aged 12 to 16 at local schools. I also offer part-time therapy to adults through the charity Mind.

I work with individuals facing a broad range of challenges, including stress, trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and bereavement. I am deeply committed to helping people restore their emotional and mental well-being, and I believe in the profound healing power of counselling.

Practice description

I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for my clients. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change. That’s why I take a Person-Centered approach, using the core conditions of empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard to build trust and connection.

As our relationship develops, I may integrate additional therapeutic modalities tailored to your unique needs, ensuring our sessions are both personalised and effective. Therapy is not just about being heard; it’s about growth and change. Sometimes, you may need a space to simply be heard, and I will be there to listen with empathy and understanding. At other times, I will ask thoughtful questions and gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns or behaviours. My approach balances support with gentle encouragement, always adapting to what feels right for you.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, bereavement, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I’m here to support you at your own pace
