About me and my therapy practice

Are you navigating challenges like heartbreak, loss, recovery, or burnout? I offer a safe and compassionate space to help you explore your experiences, rediscover your inner strength, and move toward a more fulfilling life.

With over 20 years of study in psychology, holistic healing, and creative practices, I bring a wealth of experience to my counselling work. I began my therapeutic journey in 2008 as a massage therapist and aromatherapist, which deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection and the importance of holding space for others. Over time, my passion evolved into teaching yoga, EFT, and NLP, and eventually into counselling. In 2024, I became a qualified trauma-informed counsellor, combining my professional training with years of hands-on experience to support clients in their unique journeys of healing and growth.

I specialise in:

  • Recovery from trauma, abuse, and co-dependency
  • Complex childhood experiences, including emotional neglect and growing up with emotionally immature parents
  • Menstrual health, empowerment, and healthy sexuality
  • Trauma-informed conflict resolution and non-violent communication
  • Building self-acceptance and personal resilience

My humanistic and trauma-informed approach integrates Jungian psychology, somatic techniques, and person-centred values. Together, we’ll tailor therapy to your unique needs, working at a pace that feels right for you.

Practice description

Relational depth, compassion, and warmth are at the heart of my practice. My aim is to support you in moving through and beyond life’s challenges to create a meaningful and fulfilling life—whatever that looks like for you. I do this work because I love it, and it feels like my life’s calling.

I work collaboratively with clients to understand what brings them to therapy—their needs, hopes, and personal history. Together, we explore their story at a pace and depth that feels safe and appropriate. As a person-centred therapist, I believe in tailoring our work to your unique needs, combining empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence. While I’m generally non-directive, I gently introduce compassionate challenges when I see patterns that might be keeping you stuck.

I specialise in working with clients navigating:

  • Dysfunctional relationships and co-dependency
  • Recovery from psychological, emotional, narcissistic, or cult abuse
  • Complex PTSD and childhood emotional neglect
  • PMS and menstrual health imbalances
  • Existential and spiritual crises

  • People-pleasing, anxiety, depression, and toxic shame
  • Somatic recovery, creative expression, and artistic development

My first session

Before beginning therapy, I offer a free 15-minute video call to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and explore whether we might be a good fit to work together. This is an opportunity for us to connect and for you to get a sense of my approach.

If we decide to move forward, I will send you a contract outlining our agreement, including confidentiality, session terms, and expectations. Once you’ve reviewed and signed the contract, we’ll arrange a weekly session time that works for you.

All sessions are held online via Zoom, allowing you to access support from the comfort of your own space. I encourage you to create a quiet, safe, and comfortable environment for our sessions—this is your time to connect with yourself and focus on your healing and well-being.
