About me and my therapy practice
Is something holding you back? Or struggling to cope with something in your life? Does something not seem quite right, but you don't quite know where to begin? Whatever reason you have for looking for a counsellor, I will work with you in a safe, warm, caring, non-judgmental way to explore your experiences - whether they are current, or in the recent past, or from a long time ago - so that you discover more about yourself, explore your experiences and emotions, and grow as a person. Whatever it is that you wish to work through, it is never too soon or too late to seek help and start living life more fully.

Whatever it is that you want to work on in counselling, our work will be guided by your needs, circumstances and preferences. We will work holistically and draw on different methods of counselling, depending on what will be most helpful for you to achieve your goals. Everyone who comes to me for counselling is a unique individual so we will find what works best for you as you explore your experiences and feelings further.
I am trained as an integrative counsellor and draw on a range of different approaches to counselling, including person-centred therapy, cognitive therapy and Gestalt. I have a range of creative approaches that I use with clients, depending on their needs.
Sessions can take place in person or online via Zoom.
A free, no obligation 30 minute initial consultation (via Zoom, phone, or in person) will help us to decide how we may work best together - and whether I am the right therapist for you! Please get in touch and book an initial session - I look forward to hearing from you!
My first session
Our first 30-minute session may take place by phone, online or in person.
You can ask me any questions you have, and we will be able to talk about how you want to work and what you want to get out of counselling. I will also have some initial questions and will share my counselling agreement.
It is important that we are both happy that we will be able to work together, so if we both agree, we will then book in your next session.
