I offer online counseling sessions to provide flexibility and support to clients wherever they are based. My availability includes weekdays and evenings, upon request. Please get in touch to discuss your preferred time slots, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.
About me and my therapy practice
As a qualified therapist, I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic methods to tailor my sessions to suit your unique needs. This could include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness techniques, all aimed at helping you find new perspectives and coping strategies.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment where you can feel heard and understood. I work collaboratively with clients, respecting your individual goals, pace, and autonomy. Whether you’re seeking help with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, or relationship difficulties, I aim to empower you to develop the skills and insights needed to make meaningful changes in your life.
I am currently practicing both in person in Windsor and online, offering flexibility for clients to attend sessions either in a comfortable, local setting or from the convenience of their own homes. This dual approach ensures confidentiality, professionalism, and accessibility, allowing me to reach a wide range of clients and make therapy more readily available.
My focus is on building a trusting and supportive relationship, where you can feel comfortable to explore difficult emotions and work through challenges at a pace that suits you. My aim is to support you in moving forward, not just by providing tools for coping, but by helping you uncover your own strengths and resilience.
Practice description
In my practice, I offer a welcoming and supportive space for individuals to explore their emotions, thoughts, and life experiences. Whether you are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or a sense of being “stuck,” I aim to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your patterns, while guiding you toward lasting change.
I use an integrative approach to therapy, blending techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness practices. This flexible approach ensures that the therapy is tailored to your unique needs and preferences. I believe that therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, and together we can work at a pace that feels right for you.
In an online setting, I provide a confidential and convenient space where you can feel safe to explore difficult emotions. My goal is to create a trusting, non-judgmental environment where you can feel empowered to be your true self. I understand that life can be challenging, and my role is to support you in navigating those challenges, whether that means learning new coping skills or finding ways to manage overwhelming emotions.
You can expect to feel listened to, respected, and understood. I work with you to develop practical tools that you can use both during and after therapy to improve your emotional well-being. Together, we’ll focus on identifying your strengths, building resilience, and finding ways to move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
My first session
During our first session, I will aim to create a comfortable and safe space where you can share your reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to achieve. This session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for me to understand your current challenges and goals. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about the therapy process.
The first session typically involves a discussion of your background, what has brought you to therapy, and any immediate concerns you wish to address. I will also explain how I work, the different therapeutic approaches I use, and how we can structure our sessions to meet your needs.
If necessary, I may ask you to complete a brief assessment form before the session to gather some initial background information. This helps me understand your needs and tailor our work together. If you have any specific goals or areas you would like to focus on, please feel free to share them with me at any point during our work.
I do not charge a different rate for the first session—it is the same as all subsequent sessions. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and informed about the therapy process, and to help you decide if we are the right fit for each other.
At the end of the first session, we can discuss any follow-up steps, including the frequency of sessions and how we will continue to work together to support your personal growth and well-being.
