About me and my therapy practice
You might have thought about counselling in the past, but been unsure if it's really for you.
I am committed to making therapy accessible and meaningful, working with you to get things back on track and producing lasting and effective results. My counselling training has primarily focussed on CBT but all treatment is adjusted to the specific needs of my clients and what you would like to achieve.
I have worked with adults of all ages presenting a range of mental health conditions including: anxiety, panic, depression and low self-esteem and produced effective and lasting results.
While my counselling is available for all adults, I have a particular interest in supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community and provide a welcoming non-judgemental LGBTQ+ informed and affirming therapeutic space.
My first session
Before our first session I will ask you to complete a short evaluation form about the issue that is bringing you to counselling.
During the first session we will review that and gently explore any additional information that is necessary for moving forward.
