About me and my therapy practice

I am a trainee supervisor on a Diploma in Clinical Supervision with Relationship Scotland and am seeking supervisees who would like low-cost supervision for my training year.

I follow a number of supervision models but prefer the 7 eyed model (Hawkins and Shohet) which allows me to work with supervisees of any modality in a safe and effective way.

I am a registered therapist with BACP and COSRT (Centre for Sex and Relationship Therapists) and can work with a number of modalities, with individuals and relationships.

My Masters training in Contemporary Relationships developed my integrative approach and included Systemic and Psychodynamic training with CBT techniques where appropriate.  Previous Level 2 and 3 training included Person-centred humanistic training.

I have 4 years of experience as a therapist and have worked with various agencies such as CRUSE bereavement, TalkListenChange, Relationship Scotland and secondary schools in my area.

Practice description

I am a registered Integrative therapist with BACP and COSRT. I draw on Systemic and Psychodynamic approaches and use CBT where appropriate.  I provide clients all over the UK with a wide range of therapeutic services both online and face-to-face. I am also committed to offering positive relationships and identities regarding GSERD/LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity and have trained with Anna Freud on their NATP (National Autism Trainer) programme.

My first session

I offer a free 20m chat over TEAMS to discuss your supervision needs and to explore how we might work together.

Our first session would involve negotiating our contract and boundaries for working together.  We would then talk about your  context and organisation/private practice in general terms before exploring specific cases.

I mainly use the 7-eyed model of supervision (Hawkins and Shohet) which is appropriate for all modalities to explore case-work and your relationship with the client and their issues. I also include work on transference/countertransference and our supervisory relationship and the contexts in which we operate.

I can adapt our sessions where appropriate and encourage you to voice your own needs in supervision.  I strive to remain curious and to manage our work in a positive manage in order to facilitate your growth and prioritise client safety and development.
