I’m Josh, an integrative psychotherapist and yoga teacher. I specialise in aligning the body and mind. Qualifications
I have a MSc in Psychology and a MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling, equipping me with the essential skills to assist you effectively. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am committed to ethical practice and ongoing professional development, ensuring the highest standards of care and confidentiality.
Additionally, my background as a yoga instructor and personal trainer for over ten years allows me to bring a unique perspective to therapy. Along with my prior training I have been influenced by Dr Bessel Van Der Kolk’s book The Body Keeps The Score. I incorporate mind-body connections, holistic expertise, and mindfulness techniques into my practice, striving to create a comprehensive and hollistic therapeutic experience for my clients.

I appreciate the unique challenges that individuals from all demographics face, and I believe it is essential to provide a safe and inclusive space for all individuals regardless of age, gender, sexuality, race, culture, and/or religious beliefs. Furthermore, I am deeply committed to promoting both the health of our planet and the protection of all human rights. I firmly believe that our individual well-being is intricately linked to the overall well-being of the world we live in.
My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those who are struggling or just uncertain in their current point of their life. I bring a fresh perspective and a genuine understanding of the challenges faced by people of all backgrounds.
I am here to support you, to help you navigate life's challenges, whether that is anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family issues, trauma, and so on, with the aim to empower you to create positive change. Together, we can work towards your personal growth, inner strength, and overall well-being.

Traditional 50 minute Counselling/Psychotherapy
90 minute Body-Mind Session
This unique session combines psychotherapy, yoga, mindfulness, and strength training. My approach fosters healing, personal growth, and both physical and mental strength, helping you achieve balance and resilience. Yoga and therapy together emphasise the mind-body connection, as emotions and trauma will manifest physically. Yoga helps connect and calm the body and mind, relieving tension through controlled mindful breath-work and movement. Working with the body in this way improves moment-to-moment mindfulness, helping to reduce daily stress and anxiety. Conversely, our physical posture influences our mental state; improved flexibility and mobility from yoga can boost self-esteem. Additionally, strength exercises enhances confidence and self-awareness, whilst promoting resilience. By integrating these elements, the session deepens your understanding of the body and mind, leading to improved relationships with yourself and thus the world around you.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation. This is for us to get to know each other a little more before starting your regular sessions. I will ask some straightforward questions to get to know what you are hoping to achieve from therapy, and you can ask my any questions you have.
