About me and my therapy practice
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe in your innate ability to overcome life’s challenges and find your own path to healing. In our sessions, I will work alongside you as a compassionate listener, offering a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences freely. I won’t tell you what to do or impose solutions; instead, I’ll provide support and understanding, empowering you to connect with your inner strengths and insights.
Person-centred therapy values you as the expert of your own life. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on what you want to address. Whether you're navigating grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, my role is to walk beside you, helping you cultivate self-acceptance and clarity.
In this space, you are free to be fully yourself, just as you are. You’re not alone in this journey, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Practice description
I offer a safe, empathetic space where you can explore, heal, and find hope in the face of life’s most difficult challenges. As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that each person holds unique inner strengths and insights, and my role is to support you in uncovering and using those resources. Here, you’ll find a warm, non-judgmental environment that respects your pace and individual needs.
My practice specialises in bereavement following a suicide, understanding the profound and complex layers of grief that accompany this unique loss. Together, we can navigate feelings of sadness, guilt, confusion, or anger, giving voice to your pain in a way that feels safe and supported. Alongside this specialty, I am also here to help with a wide range of other mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, and life transitions.
What You Can Expect from Me:
Compassionate Listening: I am here to fully hear and understand you, creating a space where you can express your emotions and experiences openly.
Non-Directive Support: I don’t provide directives or advice; instead, I support you in exploring your thoughts and finding the path that feels most authentic and empowering for you.
A Respect for Your Process: Our work together is led by your needs and comfort level, respecting your timing and your goals for therapy.
Whatever you’re facing, I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you find resilience and clarity. Please reach out if you have questions or would like to explore how we can work together.
My first session
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, and finding the right support is essential. To help you decide if we’re a good fit, I offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation—a warm, informal conversation where you can share what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of my approach.
Before our consultation, I’ll send over a copy of my contract so you’ll have time to review it beforehand. This way, if you have any questions about the details or terms, we can go over them together during our session.
My focus is on helping you feel safe, heard, and empowered to make the choice that’s best for you, with no obligation to continue after this consultation. If you’d like to set up a time or learn more about my practice, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
