Availability

 I understand that the work landscape has changed, and with that, I offer flexibility with counselling sessions to accommodate shift work and also childcare arrangements. I also offer traditional weekly sessions on the same day and time 

I work Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm and Friday 8 am to 4pm.  Weekend appointments may be considered.

Practice description

Counselling Sessions

I offer face-to-face sessions in Bury St Edmunds and live chat, phone and online sessions across the UK and Europe.  Sessions last 50 minutes and are scheduled typically on the same day and time each week. I understand working shift patterns and accommodate flexibility.  There is no maximum number of sessions; I will work with you and what you want to commit to

What I can work with

Clients seek counselling for so many reasons. It can support many aspects of life. You may wish to talk through a difficult experience, or perhaps you are struggling to make a decision. 

You may have become aware that patterns seem to repeat themselves in your life in a way that does not feel beneficial. Or perhaps there is a sense that things just do not feel right, that you are not content with your life but struggle to know how to move forward. Maybe it feels like something needs to change, but you are not sure what. 

Anxiety 

Anxiety counselling is designed to help you overcome fear, stress, and anxiety. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behaviour, and develop strategies to manage your anxiety.

Depression 

Depression counselling helps you overcome feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and despair. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behaviour, and develop strategies to manage your depression.

Grief 

Grief counselling helps you cope with the loss of a loved one. I provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your feelings of grief, gain insights into your behaviour, and develop strategies to manage your grief and move forward.

Anger Management 

Anger management helps you manage and control your anger in healthy ways. I provide guidance and support to help you identify the root causes of your anger, develop coping skills, and improve your relationships with others.


My first session

As part of our counselling process, we will engage in an assessment together. This assessment is designed to gather comprehensive information about you, including your life experiences, goals, challenges, and aspirations. 

By taking the time to complete the assessment with you, I will be able to develop a deeper understanding of your unique situation and tailor their support to your specific needs. 

This will allow me to provide you with personalised guidance and strategies that can help you overcome obstacles, navigate difficult emotions, and achieve your personal growth objectives. 

I believe that this assessment is a critical first step in building a strong, collaborative relationship between us, and I am committed to making the process as smooth and comfortable as possible.
