I offer face-to-face, online and telephone counselling. In addition I am able to offer walk and talk therapy in the beautiful park where my counselling room is located. I offer flexible hours Mon-Fri.
About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns and overwhelmed with stress? Maybe you are feeling unfulfilled even after following the expected steps in life? Life can sometimes feel like an uphill battle, and it’s common to feel unsure about where to turn. Therapy can help you to find peace and clarity.
My approach involves integrating reflection on the past helping understand our behaviour in the present, communication with others, and exploring your goals and interests separate from external expectations. Together, we’ll focus on what truly matters to you, helping you feel more in control, finding meaning and direction in your life.
Practice description
I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem issues, helping you see things from a new perspective and feel heard. With my experience as a senior executive, coach and therapist with Mind, Living Your Life and schools, our sessions empower your choices, helping you to move forward with a renewed sense of purpose.
If you’re feeling unsure about opening, I understand how hard it can be to begin. You may wonder whether it might bring up difficult feelings. My aim is to offer a place where you can explore what’s on your mind at your own pace. Get in touch to see if we’re a good fit.
My first session
In our first session together we will talk through what brings you to therapy and what you want to get out of our time together. As we build a context for what is happening for you we explore your relationships, family structure, education and other life experiences. This helps to build a shared understanding and helps you to increase your self-awareness as we reflect. All of this forms part of an initial assessment helping us decide how we will work together in the best way to suit you.
