About me and my therapy practice

Do you find yourself at a standstill in life, uncertain about the next steps to take? It's possible that anxiety is hindering your progress, or keeping you in a state of 'survival mode'. Alternatively, you might be struggling with your identity, behaving in a manner that aligns with others' expectations rather than your own values and needs.

Living in a way which feels inauthentic can lead to emotions such as anger, resentment, anxiety, and depression.

Specialisms:

Neurodivergence post diagnostic work - I offer post-diagnostic services to adults diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, or specific learning difficulties. This support focuses on helping you explore your identity and values following the diagnosis, as well as addressing and reevaluating challenging past experiences if you feel the need to do so.

Relational Trauma - This is trauma which stems from relationships. Are you finding yourself stuck in unhealthy relationships? Are you playing familiar roles that you can't seem to escape from? Do you struggle to define your identity beyond your relationships? I have expertise in helping adults break free from destructive relationship cycles, whether with others or within themselves. Additionally, I have experience in assisting survivors of domestic and childhood abuse.

Work with Parents - Do you wish to break generational trauma cycles? worry about passing toxic behavior to your child? finding it hard to adapt to parenthood? experience burnout from parenting, struggle to manage parental guilt, or never feel 'good enough'? I can assist you with these challenges.

Whether you are an expectant parent or have adult children, I have the experience in providing support at various stages of your parenting journey. I also have extensive experience working with parents of both young and adult children with additional needs who have formal caregiving responsibilities.
