About me and my therapy practice
I provide a safe space for clients to explore issues that are impacting them, and which may feel problematic. I believe that effective therapy is a partnership between therapist and client and that building a trusting and genuine relationship is very important.
I am client-centred, in that I believe the client should feel able to shape the process and the pace of the work. The work may be challenging but should always feel supportive and safe.
Practice description
I am a Humanistic Integrative counsellor. The approach is fundamentally person-centred whilst drawing on other theories such as psycho-dynamic, object-relations and attachment. Techniques and ideas from modalities such as CBT, TA and Gestalt are also drawn on.
