About me and my therapy practice
From personal experience, I understand that taking the first steps towards seeking counselling can be a daunting process. I aim to offer you a warm, non-judgemental space to put you at ease.
I work from the belief that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to listen empathically, helping you to explore emotions and issues that are troubling you. I aim to be guided by the client, and walk alongside you as you find a way forward.
I have had several year's experience working in education and social care, so if you are working in a caring profession and going through a tough time, I can empathise and help with your stresses.
I am competent in working creatively and am open to exploring creative methods within sessions.
I work with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, low mood, confidence, self-esteem, substance misuse, work and career concerns, and relationship issues.
