About me and my therapy practice
Within your first session you will have the opportunity to let me know what your expectations are and what your goal of therapy is. We will then take each session as it comes and have a mini review every 6 weeks or so if you are a long-term client. With short-term clients (6-12 weeks) , I work in a more goal focussed manner. My areas of expertise are dealing with, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and neurodiversity such as adhd and autism. In addition to counselling I am also a qualified personal trainer so if you have, issues regarding physical fitness and weight management I may be able to provide additional support.
Practice description
My practice is based in Birmingham City Centre or Online. Session are 50 minutes and usually conducted weekly, although I am flexiable. If you work irregular hours or unsocialble hours, I will try to accomodate you as best as I can. I am warm and friendly and provide a safe and supportive space for clients. I understand that sometimes it is difficult to talk about issues that are causing distress, however I will work with you at your pace. I work ethically and honestly in accordance to the BACP's ethical framework. So your confidentiality is paramount. If you have any queries or concerns drop me a line and I will get back to you.
