About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I am Ursula (she/her).
Talking about your life experiences, relationships and feelings can be difficult - I offer a confidential and non-judgmental space in which you can explore whatever it is that you need to talk about. All feelings are welcome.
- LGBTQIA+ affirmative practitioner.
- I can offer therapy in English or German.
Practice description
As an Integrative Counsellor I use different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs. Usually this includes working with past experiences just as much as with the here and now.
I did my integrative counselling and psychotherapy training at the Minster Centre in London and have experience in working with private clients as well as within higher-educational institutions.
Do you have any areas of specialism?
Yes and No.
Yes, because I do have a background in sex counselling and if you are thinking about having therapy in order to talk about gender, sex/sexualities, your relationship patterns, navigating relationship models, experiences of non-consent, etc. I might be the right therapist for you.
But also no, because I work with whatever it is you bring and I don't think there should be a hierarchy in terms of what deserves space in therapy and what doesn't.
I have had the honour of working with a huge variety of clients over the last few years and whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, particular symptoms, trauma, grief, adjustment to parenthood or other significant life changes or simply need a space to vent: I am here.
My first session
What happens in the first session?
The initial appointment is an opportunity for us to meet, get a sense of each other and talk about what you would like to address in therapy.
If after this session we decide to work with each other, we will arrange a day and time for regular sessions.
How much does it cost?
I charge £50 for the first session and if we agree to continue working with each other we will negotiate a fee that is within my sliding scale of £50-80, my standard fee being £65.
