About me and my therapy practice

Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. Taking the first step toward seeking help is often the hardest part, and I’m honoured you’re considering counselling. It’s a brave decision, and I’m here to offer a supportive, safe space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

As an integrative counsellor, I combine psychodynamic, humanistic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches to create a tailored therapy plan that suits your unique needs. I work in a person-centred way, focusing on building a trusting, empathetic relationship where you feel heard, understood, and valued. My role is to collaborate with you, helping uncover deeper layers of your experiences and guiding you to gain insight into your thoughts and emotions.

I work with clients facing a variety of challenges, including addiction, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or simply feeling "stuck," I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for you to reflect and grow. The goal is to help you develop self-awareness and confidence to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and ease.

With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I've worked in both public and private sector settings, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges people face in accessing support. I believe counselling should be accessible to everyone, and I strive to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for all my clients, regardless of background or life experiences.

As someone with dual heritage and being bi-lingual, I understand the importance of culture, identity, and language in shaping one’s experience. I take an inclusive approach to my practice, ensuring each individual feels valued and supported in a way that respects their identity.

You’ve already taken an important step by seeking support. I’m here to guide you through the process gently, effectively, and without judgment. I look forward to hearing from you.

Practice description

In my practice, I offer online and telephone sessions, providing flexible and accessible support. In-person sessions may become available in the near future, as I work from several locations in SW London.

I believe that finding the right counsellor is essential, which is why I offer a free introductory call for new clients. This call, lasting between 15-20 minutes, gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss your current situation and determine if I’m the right fit for your therapeutic needs. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions and get a sense of what working with me would be like. Following this call, we can arrange an introductory session to begin our work together before proceeding with regular therapy sessions.

I offer short-term therapy options of 6 sessions and 12 sessions, as well as open-ended therapy for clients who may require longer-term support. The structure of therapy is flexible and can be tailored to meet your individual needs, whether you’re looking for focused, time-limited support or a more ongoing therapeutic relationship.

My aim is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable sharing and exploring whatever challenges you’re facing. I look forward to connecting with you and taking the first step toward your therapeutic journey.

My first session

The introductory session is the first step in our work together, and it provides an opportunity to go more in-depth into the topics we discussed during the initial free call. This session lasts 50 minutes and is priced at £40.

During the introductory session, we will explore your current situation in more detail, discuss your goals for therapy, and reflect on your past experiences. We will also talk about what you hope to achieve from counselling, ensuring that we are aligned in terms of your expectations and what we aim to work towards.

This session is an important opportunity for both of us to get a better understanding of your needs, and for you to determine if I am the right counsellor to support you on your journey. It also allows us to discuss the structure of future sessions, whether we will work together on a short-term or open-ended basis.

I aim to make this session a safe and supportive space for you to share openly, ask any questions you may have, and ensure you feel comfortable moving forward with therapy.
