About me and my therapy practice
I offer integrative counselling with the emphasis on the humanist school of counselling espoused by Carl Rogers and others. My approach is largely person centred meaning that you the client are central to my approach to therapy, I have worked with clients from many different backgrounds and am particularly interested in working with those involved in sport. I offer therapy in many areas including addiction, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and career counselling.
Practice description
I work independently with clients and see counselling as very much a talking therapy, giving clients the opportunity to share issues of concern. A person centred approach allows you, the client, space to be listened to in a non judgemental way. Sessions are confidential and clients are very much the focus of my practice

During the first session I will conduct an assessment in order to tailor sessions to your specific needs. I will also ask you to sign a contract that simply sets out what we can expect from each other during sessions
