About me and my therapy practice
There are lots of reasons why you might be considering therapy. You may be struggling with everyday life or feelings of loss following a bereavement, relationship breakdown or life change. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression or feelings of not belonging. You may have experienced trauma or abuse. You may feel isolated and alone in your pain. I believe counselling and psychotherapy can help, and allow you space to process, heal and grow.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore your feelings. I treat every client as the unique individual they are, with respect and kindness. I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I am able to combine techniques to best serve the unique needs of my clients. I often work psychodynamically, working with the client’s past to help them better understand how they feel today.
It is my aim that through our therapeutic relationship, my clients will gain insight and awareness into their own process and the nature of their challenges. This understanding will help empower them on their journey of self-acceptance, healing and growth.
Beginning therapy can be a daunting experience, which is why I offer a free 20 minute introductory call so you can find out more about the process of working with me and whether therapy is right for you.
I hold a current DBS check. I am a registered member of the BACP, strictly adhering to the BACP code of ethics and their commitment to continued professional development.
