About me and my therapy practice

Feeling stuck in a cycle of anxiety, frustration, or loneliness?
Does life feel overwhelming—like you're repeating the same patterns in your relationships and unsure what should change?  Maybe you're facing change, and it's left you feeling anxious or uncertain. Or perhaps you're constantly caring for others and can't seem to find the time or energy to care for yourself.

I support many people struggling with caring for children or a loved one with poor physical or mental health, and in caring for themselves.  Whether you’re dealing with a relationship that has ended or feeling isolated even with people around you. It could be you feel low and just don't understand why or you are feeling a bit overwhelmed and lost in life itself.

I’m here to help you find your way forward. As an experienced Integrative Humanistic Counsellor and registered member of BACP, I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we can start building a path toward self-discovery and healing. My practice is grounded in the BACP Ethical Framework, ensuring your wellbeing and safety are always at the heart of our work.

I stay current with professional development and engage in regular supervision to offer you the best possible support.

Practice description

In my counselling approach, I blend the power of a person-centred framework, where we work together to deeply understand who you truly are, with Transactional Analysis to uncover the life script that has shaped your beliefs, behaviours, and relationships. We’ll explore not only your personal story, but also the cultural and societal influences that affect how you navigate the world.
My approach is holistic, recognizing the intricate connection between your mind, body, and spirit. By tuning into your body’s wisdom, we can uncover what you truly need in the present moment, helping you to become more attuned to your inner self.

Each session is as unique as you are. Your needs, goals, and pace will guide the process. I understand that no two journeys are the same, and trust will be the foundation of our work together. We’ll explore the obstacles preventing you from achieving the fulfilling relationships—with yourself and others—that you long for.

Whether you’re seeking a safe, compassionate space to untangle complex emotions or you’re ready to challenge old patterns and create meaningful change, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Together, we’ll create a secure, non-judgmental, and respectful environment where you can bring all of you.

I believe that transformation starts with deep self-awareness and acceptance.
As you gain a fuller understanding of yourself, you’ll unlock the potential to live the life you’ve always imagined—rooted in self-love, clarity, and fulfilling connections with others.

My first session

I understand that stepping into therapy can feel uncertain, and it’s completely normal to have questions about what to expect.
That’s why I offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone where we can talk about your needs, your concerns, and whether we’re the right fit to work together. This is your opportunity to get a sense of how I work and to see if it feels right for you.

If you decide to move forward, our first session will be a chance for us to get to know each other more deeply and to create a clear, shared understanding of how we’ll work together. We’ll also establish an agreement for our work together, in line with the BACP’s Ethical Framework. This ensures that your expectations are at the heart of our work and that everything we do is grounded in the highest professional standards.
