About me and my therapy practice

Hi, my name is Susie, and I'm a fully trained Integrative Counsellor, based in Eynsham, West Oxfordshire.  I work with clients over the age of 18, both face-to-face and online.

Counselling can offer you the opportunity to reflect on issues which may be challenging, confusing or distressing, in an accepting and confidential space. There are many reasons why someone might wish for the help and support of a counsellor. My role is to help you to unpack and process your thoughts, feelings and emotions, without judgement, and to support you to navigate your way forward towards growth and healing.

Practice description

Training, qualifications and experience: I completed my CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from Willows Counselling & Training, Swindon.  I currently counsel in several agencies in Swindon and Witney, alongside my private practice work based in Eynsham.

Professional membership:  I am a Registered Member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Association of Christians in Counselling (ACC).  As such I am bound by their ethical frameworks.

My first session

After you've made an initial enquiry, I'll forward you information about my practice.

I then offer a free 30 minute phone consultation.  The aim of this is to explore what you would like to gain from counselling; it also provides you with the chance to ask any questions, and gives us both the opportunity to decide whether we would like to begin working together.

Our initial session will give us the chance to discuss the counselling contract and begin to explore what you'd like to bring into the work.
