About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative Counsellor with specialised expertise in supporting men through a broad spectrum of personal and professional challenges. My practice is dedicated to helping both young and adult men navigate the unique pressures they face, whether these arise from workplace demands, fatherhood, educational attainment, personal relationships, complex family dynamics, significant life transitions, financial stress, or social isolation.
With extensive experience in understanding the specific challenges men encounter, I am committed to offering tailored therapeutic support that meets their individual needs. My focus is on addressing critical mental and emotional health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, low self-esteem, and confidence struggles, to empower men to lead more balanced and fulfilling lives.
In addition to my focus on general mental and emotional well-being, I have extensive experience supporting individuals impacted by both the Criminal Justice System and Children’s Social Care/Children's Services. I recognise how these experiences can profoundly affect a person’s sense of self-worth and emotional health, often resulting in frustration, anxiety, depression, and a loss of confidence.
My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where men can openly explore and address these complex challenges. Through a compassionate and tailored approach, I help clients navigate their experiences, rebuild their self-esteem, and develop the resilience needed to move forward.
Practice description
I offer a distinctive, integrated approach to supporting men as they navigate stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other complex challenges. Understanding how these issues can impact your sense of self-worth and emotional health, I create a safe and confidential environment where you can explore your concerns openly. My approach combines emotional support with practical skills, guiding you toward personal growth and positive transformation. Informed by my extensive experience with both the Criminal Justice System and Children’s Social Care, and grounded in a holistic perspective, my practice is dedicated to fostering meaningful and lasting change.
I provide sessions both online via Zoom and face to face in a therapy room located in Harrow, North West London. Each session is 50 minutes in duration and typically occurs on a weekly basis. Depending on your individual needs, I offer both short-term and long-term counseling options. Throughout our work together, we will regularly review our progress to ensure that the counselling is effectively meeting your needs.
My first session
The first session is complimentary and optional, designed to help you determine if counseling is the right fit for you. This 20-minute session provides an opportunity for us to get acquainted and explore the reasons for seeking counseling. The session can be conducted online via Zoom, over the phone, or in person upon request (with an additional fee for in-person meetings).
