About me and my therapy practice

Let’s be real—life is messy. You might feel anxious, stuck in old patterns, or just plain exhausted from overthinking everything. Maybe you’ve been telling yourself you should have figured this out by now, but deep down, you know something needs to change. I get it, because I’ve been there too.

That’s why I do this work. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you (because you’re not broken). It’s about having a space where you don’t have to hold everything together. A space to be real, to explore what’s actually going on, and to start feeling more like you.

I won’t sit there nodding in silence, and I definitely won’t bombard you with jargon. I show up as a real person—curious, compassionate, and sometimes even with a bit of humour (because let’s be honest, healing is hard, and we all need some lightness along the way). I bring warmth, humour, and realness into sessions—because therapy doesn’t have to be cold or clinical.

Together, we’ll explore what’s going on, untangle the thoughts that are keeping you stuck, and find ways forward that make sense for your brain. Our work will be flexible and creative, and like co-pilots, together we can figure out your preferred way of working to navigate what’s really going on. This might include: helping your brain slow down, undoing thoughts of self-doubt, exploring past patterns to understand the impact they are having on you now, managing anxiety and overwhelm to feel more in control

Practice description

I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like their brain won’t give them a break. Anyone struggling with self-doubt, anxiety, or low self-esteem. Those who’ve been told they’re “too much” or “not enough” and are so done with that narrative. Those experiencing depression and numbness, and neurodivergence.

Managing Anxiety & Overwhelm – Helping your brain slow down when it’s running a marathon.

Self-Worth & Confidence – Undoing those nagging thoughts that tell you you’re not good enough.

Exploring Past Patterns (If That Feels Right for You) – Understanding where some of your struggles might come from.

Mindfulness & Somatic Work (That Isn’t Boring) – Finding grounding techniques that actually work for you.

Relationship difficulties and Estrangement from family members – Investigating the root of issues and finding ways to move forward.

There are no rigid frameworks. No “just think positive” comments. Just real, meaningful conversations that help you move forward.

If any of this resonates, let’s talk. Therapy doesn’t have to be stiff and serious—it can be a place where you feel seen and supported as you figure things out in your own way. I’d love to hear from you.

My first session

Our first session will be getting to know each other, so unlike other sessions I tend to ask a lot of questions so I can build a picture to help figure out how best we will work together.
