About me and my therapy practice
Making initial contact with a counsellor or psychotherapist can be difficult, and many people feel anxious in doing so (speaking from experience) . My aim is to make this process as supportive as possible for you; I offer a professional counselling service which is warm, empathic, non-judgemental, and flexible to your needs. Sometimes, people feel able to talk about their difficulties with a close friend or relative, but often these problems can feel too difficult, or too personal to discuss within a conventional relationship. This is where the help of an objective, trained professional can guide you through your issues: Me!
My focus is on identifying the underlying triggers for emotional distress, including anxiety, anger, and feelings of shame or guilt, and I employ a range of techniques to address these issues effectively. I work with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties from many different backgrounds, where everyone’s story for coming to therapy is different.

Practice description
I provide both short-term and long-term individual therapy, and we can discuss the expected duration during our initial session. For longer-term therapy, we will regularly assess progress throughout the process to ensure we’re addressing your needs and to determine when it may be the right time to conclude therapy.
