About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for stopping by my profile - I know this first step into counselling is not always easy. If you're feeling anxious, depressed, having relationship or family issues or experiencing questions or issues surrounding your gender or sexuality, I'm here to work with you.
Our work together is to help you understand yourself and your situation better. I am non-judgemental and will work with you to form a relationship that will allow you to feel safe during our work. I work in a relaxed, conversational way allowing you to explore your own thoughts and feelings. I won't advise you or tell you what to do – but rather encourage and support you in your exploration.
Working from comfortable therapy rooms in Chiswick or Ealing, I hope to be able to offer you the individual therapy experience that you need. Please get in touch for a free, 20 minute no obligation session where we can get to know each other a little better.
Practice description
As a BACP Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I offer a welcoming space in Chiswick and Ealing, West London where I provide face-to-face sessions for individuals and couples in comfortable therapy rooms and I also offer online appointments for individuals.
Counselling is not easy, but I will be there to offer consistent support to you during your counselling sessions and will give you the space to explore how you feel now, and how you want to be in the future.
I am an integrative counsellor whereby I utilise a wide-range of counselling theories and practical application of these theories to enable you to explore what you want to in your own time and at your own pace. I am non-judgemental and will encourage you to challenge your own perspectives of yourself whilst still maintaining an empathy-filled approach to our work.
I abide by the BACP's Ethical Framework throughout my work, and I meet with my supervisor on a regular basis to ensure that the work we carry out together is safe for us both.
My first session
Following your initial contact with me, I offer a free 20 minute online call to see if we can become 'the right therapy fit'.
If we agree, we will then begin our work together in either 50-minute online or in-person sessions. During our first session we will work through our shared therapy agreement to ensure that our joint expectations of therapy are being met. You will also be asked to fill out a brief assessment form to ensure that our work together is safe.
