About me and my therapy practice
Hi and Welcome,
However you found your way here, I am so pleased you have.
I am Iga, a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor.
I understand the courage it takes to seek support so I will welcome you with warmth, compassion and an open mind.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic stress or feeling overwhelmed by challenges life has thrown at you?
I create a confidential, welcoming and judgement-free space for you to navigate through difficult feelings, heal from past/present trauma and experiences, change self limiting beliefs and behaviours, overcome fear, overthinking and anxiety.
I offer face to face, online or telephone therapy for adults 18+.
My area of interest and experience includes supporting clients who experience chronic stress, anxiety and panic disorder, a subject that is close to my heart and one that I am passionate about.
Nevertheless I have experience working with a range of symptoms such as:
- depression
- stress
- burnout
- bereavement
- grief & loss
- relationship issues
- identity issues
- low self-esteem
It’s my mission to let people see that they are not alone, things can definitely change and help and support is out there.
I believe in a holistic approach that incorporates the body-mind connection. Together we will work on creating changes in your life that will allow your nervous system triggers to lose their charge and anxiety + overthinking to become less overwhelming so you can move forward and create the life you truly value and thrive in.
I tailor therapy to each individual client to help you heal, discover and grow at your own pace.
Practice description
As an Integrative Counsellor, I blend elements of different modalities, such as Person-centred, Psychodynamic, IFS, Gestalt, Attachment theory, but also Neuroscience, Mindfulness and Creative therapy. I am passionate about the mind-body connection and how movement, nutrition, environment, breathwork and nature can impact our mental health.
With non-judgemental, down to earth, emphatic and compassionate approach I emphasise a safe container, where you will be invited to explore your thoughts, feelings and body sensations.
I have always been interested in the unseen and what drives our actions and behaviours. Growing up in different family models, moving countries and political systems gives me insight and knowledge of the intrinsic complexities of human existence and relationships. I have a deep interest in how culture, language, and identity (race, sexuality, gender) intersect and influence our view of the world. I welcome people from many different backgrounds, cultures and different relational styles.
I am bilingual and offer therapy in English and Polish.
For more information about me and how I work please visit my website www.therapywithiga.com
If you wish to book an initial call, please email, call, or text me, whichever is most convenient for you.

You may naturally feel a bit nervous about starting therapy, so I will explain what you can expect from me and learn what your needs and goals are (initial assessment). The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better. We will go at a pace that is comfortable for you.
