About me and my therapy practice
Hi and Welcome,
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic stress or feeling overwhelmed by challenges life has thrown at you? Maybe you feel physical symptoms such as racing heart, palpitations, fatigue, muscle tension, aches and pains?
Have you reached a point where you know that something has to change?
If you're weighed down with mental health challenges, feeling down, and constantly overthinking, it can be draining and overwhelming. Finding the right therapist is an important step in improving your well-being.
Whether you are seeking help for a specific issue or need a safe space to process difficult emotions, my mission is to create a supportive, compassionate and confidential environment where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings, big or small.
I will help you make sense of what's going on and create the changes that you need to feel better in your life.
I offer face to face, online or telephone therapy for adults 18+.
My area of interest and experience includes supporting clients who experience chronic stress, anxiety and panic disorder, a subject that is close to my heart and one that I am passionate about.
Nevertheless, I have experience working with a range of symptoms such as depression, stress, burnout, bereavement, grief, loss, relationship issues, identity issues and low self-esteem. I work with people from many different backgrounds, of all ages.
In our sessions, we'll explore what you want to change and find the tools to help you feel happier within yourself, your relationships, and your daily life.
We might look at patterns in how you relate to others, how you think and feel about yourself, and any areas where you feel stuck. We can explore your past to understand how it may still be affecting you today.
I understand it can feel overwhelming at times, but our sessions will be a safe, open and supportive space to work through it together.
Practice description
As an Integrative Counsellor, I blend elements of different modalities, such as Person-centred, Psychodynamic, IFS, Gestalt, Attachment theory, but also Neuroscience, Mindfulness, and Creative therapy. I am passionate about the mind-body connection and how movement, nutrition, environment, breathwork and nature can impact our mental health (holistic approach to therapy).
I tailor therapy to each individual client to help you heal, discover and grow at your own pace.
I approach my work in a trauma-informed way, recognizing how trauma can influence behaviour, emotions, and responses. My aim is to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space that promotes trust and healing, while avoiding retraumatisation.
About me:
I have always been interested in the unseen and what drives our actions and behaviours. Growing up in different family models, moving countries and political systems gives me insight and knowledge of the intrinsic complexities of human existence and relationships.
I have a deep interest in how culture, language, and identity intersect and influence our view of the world. I welcome people from many different backgrounds, cultures and different relational styles.
I am fluent in both English and Polish and can provide therapy in either language.
