About me and my therapy practice
Deciding to start therapy is a big step, and I understand how important it is to feel safe and genuinely supported in this journey. I believe that the relationship we build is at the heart of making real and lasting change. Together, we'll create a space that feels right for you, focusing on what you want to achieve from our work.
I'm here to support you, whether you're facing specific challenges like low self-esteem, bereavement, anxiety, and depression, or exploring deeper emotional issues or simply seeking personal growth. My goal is to help you uncover insights, empower your capacity to overcome challenges, and create the positive changes you’re looking for.
My approach is tailoring our sessions to suit your unique needs by drawing from a variety of therapeutic techniques. This flexibility allows us to adapt our work to what resonates most with you, whether it's addressing specific issues, exploring emotions, or understanding patterns in your thoughts and behaviours. By combining different methods, we can find the best way to support your personal growth.
My own journey in this field has been shaped by years of intensive training and meaningful work with various organisations. I've had the privilege of supporting those dealing with grief through Cruse Bereavement Care and working on adult mental health with Mind. I’ve also worked closely with young people aged 11-25 at the Hounslow Youth Counselling Service, helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence and early adulthood.
