About me and my therapy practice

I'm here to help you make sense of any difficulties with relationships, anxiety or your sense of self. I have experience of dealing with trauma, grief, estrangement, neurodiversity and gender differences. Online or face-to-face sessions available.

Are you troubled by the challenges you face? We work together to understand your current issues, make sense of past experiences and focus on your long term goals.

I can help with anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self esteem, emotional and physical trauma as well as a variety of other issues.

I've worked with victims of physical assault and people who've suffered childhood neglect or abuse.

My training, my client work and my personal experiences make me ideally placed to help with neurodiversity; nonbinary and transgender identity as well as miscarriage/stillbirth/babyloss.

I've also supported parents of children with SEND and teens who are going through challenging times such as self-harming, OCD or gender dysphoria.

It's a big decision to start therapy and it's important to find someone you feel comfortable with. I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation, allowing you to chat to me in confidence without obligation, to see if I'm right for you.

I work in an Integrative way, helping you to voice your concerns and think about the challenges you face.

Face to face sessions (weekdays 9am – 3pm) are based in my consulting room in Westcliff on Sea, Essex. If you prefer to work online, sessions are available during the day and also in the evening and at weekends.

Do please get in touch for a no cost, no obligation discussion. I'd be happy to help you. I look forward to hearing from you and exploring how we might work together.

Practice description

I'm a fully qualified Counsellor with experience working privately and in the charity sector.

I'm a registered member of the BACP.

I work from accessible consulting rooms in Westcliff on Sea or online using zoom.

I have worked in education for over 20 years which makes me well placed to understand the issues of workplace stress and the effects of a demanding job.

I have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection having previously worked with children in care and children excluded from mainstream education.

I have experience working with neurodiversity and additional needs and have also supported parents/carers of children with such needs.

I appreciate the diversity in our society and welcome the opportunity to work with people from any background to support their needs.
