I currently have availability every evening except Friday which is full and selected times through out the week during the day. I can also make space available on a weekend if we can not find a suitable time during the week.
About me and my therapy practice
Introduction:
My name is Chris and I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor registered with the BACP. I am 38 years old and I have experienced the good and bad things in life. I started my journey in 2019 after suffering two huge traumas within the space of a month, I felt lost and my counsellor helped me to get back on the right track to happiness. Now I want to use the experience I have gained to help other people. If you are unsure or nervous about counselling then just get in touch for a free 30 minute chat to discuss things.
Finding the right therapist can be one of the most important things you will ever do and it can be a very expensive decision which is why I have chosen to make my sessions as cheap as possible. The low price does not reflect my ability or my dedication to you the client, it is simply to make the service more accessible.
Since my qualification I have gained hundreds of client hours on top of the 350 I built up whilst completing my training. I offer a private space which can be accessed from the comfort of your own home at a time that is convenient for you. This is your journey and together we can work through anything you feel is preventing you from being happy.

Practice description
My practice is currently online and telephone only, if I get enough requests I will arrange an office space for face to face sessions, however at this time majority of clients have requested online only.
Online therapy has many benefits aside from taking place within your safe space and they are as follows.
> Allows for a greater connection between client and counsellor.
> Accessibility, can be accessed from the comfort of your own home.
> Zero travel time.
> Cheaper sessions due to lower overheads.
> You can select a therapist based on their speciality and not their location.
> More control over the session. If you feel like it is too difficult, or that you need to take a break, then you can simply log off.
> less invasive, you will be able to access counselling from the safety of your own home.
> No need to worry about travelling to the session.
> No travel costs, this makes the overall cost of the sessions cheaper for the client.
> flexible scheduling.
> Technology Benefits, the counsellor can screen share to give visual or audio aids.
> More control for the client, you can decide right up until the last minute whether or not you are feeling up to attending. With face to face sessions you have to allow for travel time.
> weather does not affect the session, face to face sessions can often be cancelled due to heavy traffic or bad weather.
My first session
The therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the journey. We need to meet online to see if we are compatible, I have always received very good feedback which can be viewed on my website but not all personalities will match. That is why I offer a free 30 minute session for us to meet, discuss what has brought you to counselling and to see if we are compatible.
