Integrative Practice 

By way of introduction and welcome I’d like to introduce myself.

I’m Deborah Cross, Fertility Counsellor, FdSc, BSc, MSc qualified. 

I’m a registered member of the British Association Counselling and Psychotherapists (MBACP) and the British Infertility Counselling Association (MBICA).

I offer clients a professional, private, and confidential counselling/therapy service, initially online/telephone, whilst identifying premises for face to face sessions, workshops and training.

Fertility counselling care specialises primarily in areas of infertility, fertility difficulties, preparedness for treatment, unsuccessful treatment outcomes, egg donation, sperm donation, surrogacy, miscarriage, baby-loss and secondary infertility.

These are my specialised areas of practice in my endeavour to support and help clients understand, validate, integrate and alleviate the hurt they are experiencing.

Motivated initially by my own decade long lived experience of fertility difficulties, onerous treatment cycles, invasive gynaecological surgeries, unsuccessful treatment outcomes, miscarriage and my own immersion in therapy to heal. 

It was my lived experience which propelled me to seek an academic understanding and framework of therapeutic supports to enable me to establish Fertility Counselling Care.

The counselling services offered however will not be limited solely to areas of (IN)fertility.

I will also be offering a blend of therapeutic modalities in Person Centred Integrative therapy dealing with ‘typical’ psychological symptoms such as depression, anxiety, trauma, life limiting beliefs, relationships, loss and bereavement as well and other life altering/debilitating experiences.

I offer an initial 20 minute online consultation call that is free of charge.  Should you then decide to proceed with counselling we can move to our first session (1hr), which will primarily focus on assessment, establishing a contract and discussing commitment, expectations and goals for the sessions ahead.
