About me and my therapy practice

My name is Samina. Thank You for clicking on my profile. Seeking counselling can be a difficult decision but people seek counseling for a variety of reasons.  You may be seeking it because you are feeling overburdened, tense, trapped, or concerned about something in your life, or you may simply be unable to cope and know that something has to change. I can offer assistance and direction in the areas of emotional recovery, development, and transformation.

How Can I Help You?

Previously, I have assisted clients with anxiety-related problems, depressive symptoms, bereavement, significant life transitions, attachment disorders, and low self-esteem. I have also worked with women who have left violent relationships. I  have helped married couples, especially within the Muslim community. I am here to help you make sense of what is going on, investigate the emotional and psychological consequences, and figure out a course of action whether you are having problems in your friendships, family relationships, or intimate partnership.

I also have experience and additional training in individuals who have lost a limb and currently volunteer in the NHS supporting these individuals. I've also provided bereavement counseling, so I am aware of the particular difficulties that each person experiences when they experience loss and grief.

Practice description

I feel Counseling, is a voyage of perspective, and talking therapies explore, test, and broaden your worldview while also creating room for fresh viewpoints. This process can help you see things more clearly and present chances for personal development and transformation in areas where you may have previously felt trapped or overwhelmed. Using Person Centred Counselling allows clients to explore their feelings with support.

Talking isn't always simple and many people who are looking for support may find this off-putting. Here, creative methods like working with art, mindfulness, and creative visualizations, as well as any other interests or passions you may have, can help you in your therapy process by opening up new channels of your inner wisdom and enabling you to speak with me and yourself uniquely.

Furthermore, I have worked within the Muslim community offering   Islamic marriage counselling ,  allowing you a secure environment without being judged.
