About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Sarah, I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor who has trained at the Northern Guild in Jesmond.
I provide a warm and supportive environment for you to feel safe to explore whatever challenges you might be facing currently. I believe that we all have the potential for growth and to find purpose, and my therapy will build on your strengths and inner resources, to help you navigate life with resilience and clarity.
I am an integrative, humanistic, person centred therapist, which means I offer a unique blend of therapeutic techniques tailored to your individual needs.
I look forward to walking alongside you on your therapy journey and being a guide back to the light you have within.
Practice description
Psychotherapeutic counselling involves weekly sessions and I recommend that every session is at the same time, each week, to provide consistency which aids the therapeutic process.
The amount of sessions will be dependant on your needs and availability, which will be discussed at our initial assessment.
I offer in person work at my private practice in Morpeth, Northumberland. Online sessions are available on request.
My first session
Once I've received your enquiry I will arrange the initial session which will be held in person at a time that is convenient for you. This session will be an open conversation where I will ask some questions to get an overview of your personal needs and we can discuss what has brought you to therapy, and how I will best support you.
This is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions about the therapy process and for you to get a sense of how we will work together.
