About me and my therapy practice
I understand the profound importance of talking and being heard. In today's fast-paced world, many of us carry burdens that remain unspoken, leaving us feeling isolated and overwhelmed. I believe that sharing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences is a vital step towards healing and personal growth. I am compassionate and here to listen without judgment, providing a safe and supportive space where you can explore your emotions and find clarity. Together, we can navigate life's challenges and help you reconnect with your inner strength and resilience.
I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My qualifications include:
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at The Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Academy (CPTA) awarded by (CPCAB)
Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CPCAB)
Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CPCAB)
Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems
Level 2 Certificate in Self-Harm and Suicide Awareness and Prevention
Life isn’t always easy. Connections and talking can make the difference between feeling overwhelmed and being able to cope with what life throws at us. I am an experienced therapist and I currently work for a local hospice, supporting those diagnosed with a terminal illness or recently bereaved. I am also working for a local charity supporting young people with mental health challenges.
My therapy labrador, Jess, who has worked in schools as an emotional support dog, can either join or sit out of our sessions at your request.
Practice description
I offer face to face therapy in two locations in the south of England.
My therapy room in Hampshire is in Church Crookham with off-street parking available. I also have a therapy room in the centre of Bournemouth, Dorset, which has wheelchair accessibility.
For those unable to attend in person, I offer remote sessions through Microsoft Teams or telephone therapy. I am also able to offer home visits on request.
My first session
My fee is £60 for each 50 minute session.
I offer an initial 15 minute phone consultation free of charge. In this no-obligation discussion, you can share what you would like to get from therapy, ask questions, and get a sense of what it is like talking to me. After this, if you decide I am the right therapist for you, you can book an appointment for your first session. Sessions will be charged at £60.
Please call, text, email, or send a message via WhatsApp to arrange a phone consultation.

After 30 years in leadership, management and education, I became increasingly aware of the need for a greater depth of support and understanding for families. Life isn’t always easy. Connections and talking can make the difference between feeling overwhelmed and being able to cope with what life throws at us. I am an experienced therapist and I currently work for a local hospice, supporting those diagnosed with a terminal illness or recently bereaved.
