About me and my therapy practice
I offer a safe, compassionate and empathetic space in which to explore whatever is going on for you. I passionately believe we have the resources within ourselves to find new perspective, a way forward and peace, whatever our situation.
Are you struggling with a big life event, such as bereavement, job loss or relationship breakdown? Is the 'usual stuff' - day to day - feeling overwhelming?
Maybe you're experiencing anxiety or depression, or a feeling of 'stuck-ness' in life, do you want to change things but it feels too difficult?
Talk therapy is often a way to make sense of what seems to be insoluble. The chance to explore what's happening for you in a completely confidential, non-judgemental environment can be incredibly empowering and allow new perspectives to enter our experience.
I am a Level 5 person-centred counsellor, the result of over three years training, I am insured and work in-person (Falmouth or Pool) or online. Person-centred counselling puts you at the heart of the work, I am not the expert on what is going on in your life, you are. Our work together is aimed at facilitating your navigation of the issues that bring you to counselling and I do this through listening, gentle questioning to gain clarity and offering perspective on what I hear.
I offer a free 20 minute phone call to establish what brings you to counselling and see if we're a good fit, from then we can work weekly or fortnightly to start with and take it from there.
